From December to October: The Next Chapter of GCD

Global Cypher Day began in December, but as the movement grew, the challenges of the month became clearer. Winter, snowfall in several regions and Christmas and year-end commitments can make international participation difficult. So, from 2026, Global Cypher Day is moving to a new annual calendar: EVERY 2ND SUNDAY OF OCTOBER For 2026, Global Cypher Day will take place on: Sunday, 11 October 2026. The change is more than a change of date. It is part of GCD's effort to create a predictable and accessible annual platform for communities around the world. One fixed Sunday. Different countries. Different communities. One movement. Same Day. Same Voice. All Around the World.
